Narrow Gauge at Work - Photo Charter - photos © Dave Enefer
Fri 19th June 2026

The Friday event was an advance ticket photographic charter with a good number of participants from all over the UK.
Both the Fri & Sat events were planned and largely operated by our more recent volunteers.
Well done to all involved - a great 2 day event!

We were very pleased to welcome back Trixie the pony, from the Silverleaf & Poplar Railway.

This year Trixie ran from the rail storage area to number 1 curve (near the shed) and then returned.

Now seen negotiating number 2 curve with the rail storage in the distance.

We were thrilled to have a rake of 6 skip wagons on loan from the Silverleaf & Poplar Railway.
Seen at back of hangar with Simplex "Fred".

The skips plus our smaller one now at Seathorne Bank with "Wilton".

"Jurassic" on skip duty on final straight before Seathorne Bank.

"Jurassic" about to leave Seathorne Bank after running round its train.

Ex Nocton Estates Light Railway Simplex "Nocton" with its brand new replica wooden cab
(expertly built by one of our volunteers) approaches Seathorne Bank with a load of potatoes.

Nocton about to depart Seathorne Bank under the watchful eye of the stationmaster.

"Fred" and the skips passing through the cool shaded rail storage area.
