WW1 weekend 20th & 21st September 2025

This years event built on the success of last years and was extended to two days. Advantage was taken of the new station at Seathorne Bank which allowed the Hull Rifles re-enactment group to provide displays of their weapons, with firing taking place on the Saturday, and give very informative talks to the passengers on the platform. On the Sunday Trixie the pony was hauling a class P ration wagon through the station between trains. Plans are already being made for 2026`s event!

Military trains were run alternately with the passenger trains.
