Lincolnshire Coast Light Railway

It`s hard to believe that our ex Ashover Light Railway no. 2 carriage once looked like the B&W image below - but it did!

When the Ashover Lt Rly closed two of its carriages were used locally as football stands with one side removed and propped up.

Thanks to the pioneers of the LCLR at Humberston, who restored it and turned it out in blue livery, and the later Skegness team this coach is now restored and in railway use again.

Repainting in maroon livery at Skegness.

Professionally sign written the coach stands in Walls Lane station awaiting passengers.

The coach is truly fit for royalty as witnessed here in 2017 when HRH The Princess Royal visited the LCLR and Skegness Water Leisure Park.
